After three years, we are almost done! For the first two years we went every Thursday to Don Bosco Center of Studies in Bicutan. Me, all the way from Antipolo. Had classes from 8:00am to 6:30pm. Theological discussions, thick readings, oral exams, written exams, practical exams, group work, presentations, etc etc. On the third year, I moved occupation, so working on weekdays, then classes on Saturdays.
It’s a miracle we survived. 🙂 Time really does fly. During the first few weeks I always thought to myself: “What am I doing? I won’t be able to finish this!” But, perseverance pays off. And studying with friends.
Last week we had our oral comprehensive exam. Today we had our final written exam. I just have to finish one more class and my final paper, and then I am done with my Masters. Pinch me, I am dreaming.
Of course, there is still a lot of work to be done. My last class still has requirements that I need to finish. And my project paper… well… still needs a lot of work. But with just those needing to be finished to meet the goal… it’s as good as done.
Great day 🙂 And all great days need great rewards. Here. Have some cupcakes, cake and coffee (happy birthday Reese! Thanks Lee-an!). Dig in.
