The Vote 2013. My Senator: Koko Pimentel @koko_pimentel

I remember meeting Koko Pimentel for the first time sometime 2006. He, along with Rotary, gave an award to two of our missionaries – Jessie Barcelona and Candy Subang – who figured in an accident in Mindoro while on mission to the poor of that area. There was a dinner, and the awarding came after that. He was very sociable and friendly, and I liked him off the bat.

Seems I was not wrong in my assessment of him even then. He has proven to be hard-working and convicted in his beliefs. I like how he stands up for what is right, even if it may seem unpopular (though having an unpopular stand is quite relative nowadays). He works hard enough to put others to shame. And he does everything with a smile and even some jokes on the side.

I admire his work ethic, and how he puts deep thought in his decisions. I also like that he honors his commitments. Good job Senator Koko, I am sure this election will bring you the mandate you deserve!

Follow him on Facebook and Twitter. And his website. And YouTube. And Pinterest. How can you not love such a social media-savvy guy?

2. Marwil Llasos
