>I just got interested in some Diocesan facts for the Philippines. All info taken from Catholic Hierarchy. Here are our current, non-retired Bishops.

We have 3 Cardinals, one of whom is in Rome, and the other 2 for the Dioceses of Manila and Cebu. And all 3 are above the retirement age of 75. So we should be expecting 3 new Cardinals to be named sometime in the future – maybe one for each island? There are 3 other Archbishops over the retirement age; from the Dioceses of Tugegarao, Davao and Capiz… and soon to be, Pasig.
They will join the vacant Dioceses of Kalibo and Masbate.
So the question really is… who will replace them all? There are always guesses and hopes, but we never know what the Pope wants; and it is usually someone we never expect.
Keep praying! For Manila and Cebu (and maybe even Davao, if it will be led by a Cardinal), they will probably pick a current Archbishop. Here is the list of current Archbishops (from CBCP Online):
