>Going Home Today!

We have been in Makati for a week now. Sumulong Highway was blocked by the landslide above. There was no electricity, and therefore no water too. Also, there was still a threat of more landslides. So we have been staying at my Lola Aida’s house for the past week (Aida is named after her, Lola Aida passed away a few years ago. The house can fit all of us because she had 14 kids and they all lived here… When we leave it will be empty again).

Now, Sumulong Highway is cleared. The engineers of Lopez have said the building won’t collapse on us (hope they are right). And we just got electricity last night, so now we have water as well. The only downside, still no wifi. Well, that has nothing to do with the typhoons or the calamities πŸ™‚

Time to go home! And sleep on my bed. And enjoy my house. πŸ™‚ I missed it. I am sure all those affected by the typhoon feel the same way, and I am praying that they will get the opportunity to go home, just as I am going home today. It has been a hard week, and the work of relief still continues, but, there is hope. And soon, we will all be home as well.
