>Day 2 (continued)
We sent relief goods as well to: Bago Bantay, Project 6 and Project 8 in Novaliches (one of the YFL sent a message over Facebook asking for assistance); and, Tatalon in Quezon City.
More donations were sent in well into the night. And we thank you for them all!
Now, day 3, we are getting more reports from more areas not seen on TV and heard on the news that there ARE STILL AREAS FLOODED! No electricity, no relief goods. We are coordinating with local CFC FFL Chapters, many who have also been hurt by the flood and lost everything, to send relief goods.
Today we have sent to: Malaya Elementary School in Cubao; Marikina Evacuation Centers; Binangonan and Angono towns in Rizal; San Mateo barangays and parishes; Tanay, Baras, Pililla and Jala-jala in the farther areas of Rizal; Riverside Village in Cainta; De Castro Village in Cainta; Pinagbuhatan in Pasig; and, Montalban.
Thank you again to the following donors: Aster Bughao; Jesse Tabora; CFC FFL Hong Kong; Bob Murga; Rolly Lirio, CFC FFL Davao; Jerome Protacio; Maricar Gatchalian; Tony Liza and Family; Deo Dizon; Medicines from John Paul Atienza; Zue, Jennifer and Enrik from Ateneo; Jun Eguico; Maan Palma; and those who continue to give – cash, goods, and their time to this effort.
The work is getting more tiring as more relief packs are being made (and needed), but it is all worth it 🙂
